76 automakers recall 5.55 million vehicles in China this year
Posted On: Dec. 22, 2015 12:00 AM CSTA total of 76 automakers have recalled 5.55 million vehicles due to technical faults in China so far in 2015, according to Yan Fengmin, an official at China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
ETAuto.com citing Indo-Asian News Service reported that the primary reason for the recalls was engine problems, followed by airbag and seat belt defects, and electrical failures.
