Cyber attacks likely to cost businesses almost $1 billion in 2016: Official

Lev Khasis, first deputy chairman of OJSC Sberbank of Russia, has said that Russian businesses are expected to lose nearly $1 billion from cyber attacks in 2016, reports SC Magazine UK.

The losses are expected to rise in the near future, Mr. Khasis added. Russian software security firm Kaspersky Lab Z.A.O said that every second corporate computer in the nation was the subject of at least one cyber attack in 2015. Hackers will mainly attack data centers and corporate servers in 2016, a Kaspersky official said.
