Telecom firm Orange fined $382 million over anticompetitive behavior

The French competition regulator has imposed a fine of €350 million ($382 million) on the country's telecommunications firm Orange S.A. for anticompetitive behavior in the corporate market, reports Business Standard citing Agence France-Presse.

The regulator said the fine comes after Orange's rivals Bouygues Telecom S.A. and Societe Francaise du Radiotelephone - SFR S.A. complained that Orange had been blocking free competition in the corporate market for mobile and fixed phones since the early 2000s.
