63% of SMEs not prepared to tackle cyber attacks: Survey

A survey by U.S.-based security firm Webroot Inc. has showed that 63% of small and medium enterprises in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom feel that they are not prepared to deal with cyber attacks, reported SC Magazine‎ UK.

Around 60% of respondents said their business is more likely to face cyber attacks than large enterprises. About 48% of respondents feel that their firm is at risk from insider threats. U.K. SMEs estimate that cyber attacks would cost them an average of £215,910 ($324,059).
