Oil spill fire destroys property worth millions in Nigeria
Posted On: Dec. 7, 2015 12:00 AM CSTA fire caused by an electrical spark near a punctured pipeline has destroyed property worth several millions of naira in Nigeria's Delta state, reported The Nation Newspaper.
An eyewitness said that the fire destroyed many shops and 15 vehicles in the state's Effurun town.
The spill happened as a result of illegal siphoning of crude oil from the pipeline, sources said.
