Risk Strategies Co. acquires health care reinsurance specialists

Risk Strategies Co. Inc. said Monday that it has acquired reinsurance specialist Re-Solutions Intermediaries L.L.C.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Minneapolis-based Re-Solutions are reinsurance specialists focused on assisting health care organizations around the world manage risk. Re-Solutions provide analytics, consulting and creative reinsurance solutions for the health, accident, life and disability insurance industries, Risk Strategies said in a statement.

Re-Solutions founder and president, Tony Plampton and his team will join Risk Strategies, the statement said.
