France detects two more cases of bird flu

France's agriculture ministry said that two more cases of highly pathogenic bird flu have been detected in the country after a recent case was discovered in years, Farmers Weekly reports.

The two affected poultry farms are in France's Dordogne department. The affected farms include a goose farm and a duck farm in Domme and Saint-Paul-la-Roche regions, respectively. The ministry said that it was proceeding with a cull of all animals in the affected farms. The outbreak has caused some nations to ban French poultry imports.
