Foreign investment in insurance sector booms
Posted On: Dec. 3, 2015 12:00 AM CSTIndia's Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman has said that foreign direct investment in the country's insurance sector more than doubled to $341 million during March-September period in 2015, reports Firstpost citing the Press Trust of India.
The insurance sector received FDI worth $135.3 million during the corresponding year ago period, added Ms. Sitharaman.
