Misr Insurance wins $383 million policy to insure money transfer firm

Egypt-based Misr Insurance Co. representative Essam Mansour has said that the insurer has won a contract to insure the assets and properties of a money transfer company in Alexandria, reports Amwal Al Ghad.

It is a one-year renewable term policy, said Mr. Mansour.

The firm would be insured for 3 billion Egyptian pounds ($383 million), said Mr. Mansour.

The policy would provide coverage to the firm against political violence and risks such as fire, burglary and dishonesty, added Mr. Mansour.
