Volkswagen to recall 320,000 cars in India
Posted On: Dec. 1, 2015 12:00 AM CSTVolkswagen A.G.'s Indian subsidiary Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. is recalling more than 320,000 cars in the country affected by the emissions scandal, reports India Today citing Autocar India magazine.
The recall covers all cars powered by the EA189 diesel engine and this includes more than 30,000 Audi cars, 80,000 Skoda cars and about 210,000 Volkswagen cars.
India's National Green Tribunal has issued a notice to stop the manufacture and sale of all Volkswagen vehicles in the country.
