Oil workers' strike cost Petrobras 2.29 million barrels of oil in lost production

Brazilian oil firm Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. said that the recent strike by oil workers has cost the firm 2.29 million barrels of oil and 48.4 million cubic meters of natural gas in lost production, reports Splash 24/7.

The strike by Brazil's oil workers federation began on Nov. 1 to protest against Petrobras' austerity measures.

The labor action is believed to be the most disruptive strike that the oil firm has faced in 20 years.
