Winds of 80mph toppled trees and crippled transport networks. Large parts of the United Kingdom are on heightened flood alert. Rail services continue to be disrupted due to damaged train lines. Thousands of homes in U.K.'s England, Wales and the Midlands region have lost power due to the storm.
