U.K. retailers to lose millions to online fraudsters during 2015 Christmas: Security firm
Posted On: Nov. 13, 2015 12:00 AM CSTU.S.-based security firm ThreatMetrix Inc. has said that retailers in the United Kingdom will lose millions of pounds to online fraudsters this Christmas, The Telegraph reported.
ThreatMetrix has detected 45 million attempted attacks against online retailers over the last 90 days. The upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday will be "a particular target for online criminals," said ThreatMetrix. The security firm predicts that the number of attempted hacks during the upcoming holiday shopping period will double from last year.
