Samarco Mineracao S.A., a mining joint venture between miners BHP Billiton Ltd. and Vale S.A., will halt output of iron-ore pellets for blast furnaces following a dam burst at its Germano mine in Brazil's Minas Gerais state, reported Bloomberg.
