Flash floods swamp central business district

Flash floods hit large areas of Melbourne’s central business district, 9news.com.au reported. Funnel clouds that likely to turn into tornadoes, were reported at Tullamarine, Cragieburn and St. Albans.

The Melbourne Airport is still open. The Bureau has issued warnings about the metro area being at high risk of flash flooding, with many areas already flooded.
