Willis appoints retail CEO for Mexico

Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. has appointed John Baudouin CEO of its retail business in Mexico, the brokerage announced Tuesday.

Mr. Baudouin, who has already started in the role, has more than 32 years’ insurance industry experience. He most recently was CEO of Mexico City-based Colemont Retail Brokers, Agente de Seguros y de Fianzas S.A. de C.V.

Prior to that, Mr. Baudouin spent many years at Aon P.L.C., where he served as CEO of Aon Risk Solutions and Aon Consulting in Mexico.

In a statement, Willis said that Mr. Baudouin’s priorities in his role will be to enhance the brokerage’s proposition to clients and prospects and to build upon the April acquisition of Guadalajara-based Carsa Consultores Agente de Seguros y de Fianzas S.A. de C.V.

“My goal is to position Willis Mexico as one of the premier brokers in Mexico,” Mr. Bauduoin said in the statement.

Mr. Bauduoin is based in Mexico City.
