Insurers not ready for costs of climate change: U.N. climate diplomat

Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change, has said that insurers are not ready for the costs of climate change, reported Bloomberg.

"The insurance sector is perhaps ready for some natural disasters, but it it's not ready for climate change, which is a systemic threat," said Ms. Figueres.
