Moody's ranks Morocco as largest insurance market in North Africa

A recent report by Moody's Investors Service Inc. has ranked Morocco as the largest insurance market in North Africa, reports Morocco World News.

Morocco's Department of Insurance and Social Welfare said that premiums issued in the country's insurance sector increased 6.4% to 28.4 billion Moroccan dirhams ($2.9 billion) in 2014. Insurance penetration inched upwards a smidgen.
