Hurricane Patricia likely to cause $3 billion in damage

Hurricane Patricia which hit Mexico's Pacific coast near Cuixmala region on Oct. 23, could result in more than $3 billion in damage, as forecasted by Kinetic Analysis Corp., reported Bloomberg.

Kinetic also forecast that one sixth of this total could be incurred by insurers. The hurricane also prompted evacuations of guests in several hotels.
