Changan Ford to recall 219,307 Ford Kuga vehicles in China

China's Changan Ford Automobile Corp. Ltd. will recall 219,307 Ford Kuga vehicles in the country owing to an oil tube defect, reports Xinhua.

Changan Ford is a joint venture between China's Chongqing Changan Automobile Co. Ltd. and U.S.-based Ford Motor Co.

The country's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said that the recall covers vehicles manufactured between July 3, 2012 and Nov. 26, 2014.

The automaker said that it would provide free replacement of the tubes.
