Aon Holdings B.V. to exit Indian market

Netherlands-based insurance broker Aon Holdings B.V. informed about its plan to exit India and has cited "regulatory changes" as the reason for the exit, reported The Indian Express.

Aon, which holds a 26% stake in its Indian joint venture Aon Global Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., has informed officials about its plan to exit from the venture.

Aon Global Insurance Brokers was formed in 2003.

It is a joint venture between Aon and India's Global Insurance Services Pvt. Ltd.
