Floods to cost French insurers up to $733 million: Association

France's insurance industry association has said that the recent flash flood in the country’s southern region is likely to cost insurers in the range of €550 million to €650 million ($620.2 million to $733 million), reports Reuters.

Insurers expect to receive 60,000 claims from the disaster, said the association.

The floods that hit the country's Riviera region claimed 19 lives and caused huge damage.
