Insurance Australia Group appoints Peter Harmer as new CEO

Insurance Australia Group Ltd. has appointed Peter Harmer as its new chief executive, reported The Sydney Morning Herald.

Mr. Harmer will replace Mike Wilkins who will retire. Mr. Harmer, who is currently the chief executive of IAG Labs, will take on the new role as CEO in November. Mr. Wilkins will stay on in an executive capacity until March 2016.
