Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers elects 2016 officers

Bill Henry, chairman and CEO of Dallas-based MHBT Inc., a Marsh & McLennan Agency L.L.C. company, has been elected as the 2016 chairman of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, the council announced Wednesday.

Mr. Henry was elected during the council's annual Insurance Leadership Forum in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this week.

He succeeds Steve Brockmeyer, president and CEO of Bolton & Co. in Pasadena, California.

Other leaders named during the council's meeting include Vice Chairman Robert Cohen, chairman and CEO of Denver-based IMA Financial Group Inc.; Treasurer David Eslick, chairman and CEO of Marsh & McLennan Agency, New York; and Secretary Martin P. Hughes, chairman and CEO of Chicago-based Hub International Ltd.

The leaders took the new posts effective Wednesday.
