Insurance premiums in Lebanon up slightly in H1
Posted On: Sep. 29, 2015 12:00 AM CSTData from the Association of Insurance Companies in Lebanon has shown that premiums in Lebanese insurance market totaled $782 million in first six months of 2015, reported Middle East Insurance Review.
The premiums increased 0.8% year on year during the period, the data showed.
Benefits and claims paid in the nonlife insurance segment decreased 0.5% year on year to $277 million in the first half, the association said.
