Lockton executives take on bigger duties

Three senior executives at Lockton Cos. have assumed expanded roles, the Kansas City, Missouri-based broker announced Tuesday.

Glenn Spencer has been named chief operating officer of Lockton Inc. and president of Lockton Cos. in the United States. He previously served as Lockton's U.S. chief operating officer. He is based in Kansas City.

Neil Nimmo will succeed Mike Hammond as CEO of both Lockton Cos. L.L.P. in the United Kingdom and Lockton International Holdings Ltd, succeeding Mike Hammond on May 1, 2016. He is currently deputy CEO for Lockton's international operations, based in London.

Mr. Hammond has been appointed executive chairman of Lockton International Holdings Ltd., the operating business for all of Lockton's businesses outside the United States, assuming responsibilities currently held by David Lockton, who remains as executive chairman of Lockton globally. Lockton said in the statement announcing the changes that Mr. Hammond, who is based in London, will also work with the Lockton Inc. board to develop and lead the company's strategic planning process globally.
