Tropical storm Marty is slowly moving towards Mexico's Pacific coast off the country's Acapulco city, reported Fox News Latino citing The Associated Press.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center said that a tropical storm watch has been issued for the coast from Acapulco to Lazaro Cardenas.
Forecasters have said that the tropical storm is likely to bring rainfall totaling 4 to 6 inches in the country's Guerrero state.
Marty could also cause life-threatening flash floods and mudslides, said the forecasters.
