Healthcare sector highly vulnerable to cyber attacks: Report
Posted On: Sep. 25, 2015 12:00 AM CSTThe Raytheon|Websense Security Labs 2015 Healthcare Drill-Down report has found that the global healthcare sector is highly vulnerable to cyber attacks, CIO Australia reports.
The report found that the sector has experienced 340% more security incidents and attacks than other industries. One in every 600 attacks in the sector involved advanced malware, found the report. The report also said that the healthcare sector is also 74% more likely to be affected by phishing schemes.
