Regulator to launch electronic platform to monitor insurance agencies
Posted On: Sep. 24, 2015 12:00 AM CSTThe China Insurance Regulatory Commission said that it will launch an electronic platform using big data technology and cloud computing to monitor and regulate the country's insurance agencies, reports Asia Insurance Review citing the China Daily.
The system will facilitate the regulator's work in cracking down on unscrupulous activities.A CIRC official said that development of the system will start by the end of 2015 or early next year. The system will take three years to complete, added the official.
