Tokyo at risk of floods

Experts warned that Tokyo is at risk of damaging floods, reports The Japan Times.

Tokyo is likely to be "annihilated" if the city remains unprepared, said the experts.

The experts also warned that devastating floods could cause huge economic losses.

The odds are "100%" that downpours similar to the recent torrential rain in Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures will hit Tokyo, said an expert.
