Romania's insurance market increases 9% in H1: Report
Posted On: Sep. 22, 2015 12:00 AM CSTRomania's Financial Supervision Authority said that the size of the country's insurance market increased by 9% year on year to nearly €1 billion ($1.13 billion) in the first half of 2015, reported Romania-Insider.com.
Gross premiums written in the nonlife insurance segment totaled nearly €790 million ($892.9 million) during the period, up 9% year on year.
The ten biggest insurers in the country reported more than 80% of the revenues during the period.
