Honda recall in India

Honda Cars India Ltd, a subsidiary of Japanese carmaker Honda Motor Co. Ltd., is recalling 223,578 vehicles in India owing to faulty airbag inflators, reported NDTV citing the Press Trust of India.

The recall includes 140,508 units of the carmaker's popular City sedan manufactured between 2007 and 2012, 54,290 units of Civic sedan produced between 2003 and 2012, 15,707 units of premium hatchback Jazz manufactured between 2009 and 2011, and 13,073 units of CR-V manufactured between 2004 and 2011.

HCIL said that the "replacement would be carried out free of cost at HCIL dealerships across India."
