Underwriting manager Schinnerer announces new president

Underwriting manager Victor O. Schinnerer & Co., Chevy Chase, Maryland, has promoted Brian Hanuschak to president, the company said in a statement Monday.

Mr. Hanuschak, who will be responsible for leading operations and developing business across the firm's range of specialty insurance products, will be based in the firm's Chevy Chaseheadquarters and report to Rob Byler, CEO of The Schinnerer Group.

Mr. Hanuschak had previously served as managing director of sales and distribution for the company, where he focused on new program development, sales and marketing strategy, and cultivating broker and carrier relationships, the statement said.

Brian Hanuschak replaces Jonathan M. Zaffino, who has left the company.
