Some reinsurance deals "adventuresome": Swiss Re CFO

Swiss Re Ltd. chief financial officer David Cole has said that some takeovers in the reinsurance sector by other investors may be considered “adventuresome," reported Reuters.

More merger deals are expected in the reinsurance market as players try to strengthen their financial muscle in the face of falling prices and other investors look to diversify into reinsurance seeking higher returns. But he questioned the experience of some new entrants in the industry.
