British Airways plane catches fire before takeoff at Las Vegas airport

The fire prompted the evacuation of 170 people on board. The pilot said that the accident happened because of a "catastrophic failure of the engine." The plane's left engine caught fire before take-off, said a spokesman for the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
