Insurance broker expands in Nashville

AssuredPartners Inc. on Tuesday said it has acquired Nashville, Tennessee-based insurance broker Bandy Van Cleave & Williamson L.L.C.

Terms of deal were not disclosed.

Bandy Van Cleave & Williamson offers property/casualty, group life, health and disability insurance, pension plan and personal insurance coverage and services to small to midsize businesses, AssuredPartners said in a statement.

The staff will continue working from its Nashville office, reporting to Bob Van Cleave and Chuck Williamson, according to the statement.

Since 2011, Lake Mary, Florida-based AssuredPartners has acquired over 100 insurance agencies, the brokerage said in the statement.

AssuredPartners is the 13th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
