Bangladesh to introduce safety insurance for workers

Mujibul Haque Chunnu, Bangladesh's minister of labor and employment, has said that the government has taken an initiative for the introduction of safety insurance for workers in the country, reported The Financial Express.

Mr. Chunnu said that the ministry will launch a pilot project in November in this regard.

A high-level committee has been set up to advance the plan, Mr. Chunnu added.
