BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
The estimated economic impact of floods that hit New Zealand's Whanganui, Manawatu and Taranaki regions in June has been now put at $275 million New Zealand ($174.3 million), reported Radio New Zealand.
The Manawatu-Wanganui Regional Council had earlier estimated the damage from the floods at $120 million New Zealand ($76 million).
Nikki Kaye, civil defense minister, said that she was concerned that the floods have badly affected rural areas.
Ms. Kaye said the biggest single cost would be repairing roads and infrastructure in the regions.
