Insurance premiums inch up 2% in Russia

Claims payments for the period increased 9.5% to RUB 236.54 billion. Russia's Sogaz Insurance Group, OAO Rosgosstrakh, OSAO RESO-Garantia and Ingosstrakh Insurance Co. were the market leaders in premium writings in the first half.
