Typhoon Ineng causes over $12.9 million in damage in Philippines

The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Philippines' Ilocos Norte province has said that typhoon Ineng has caused damage worth over 600 million Philippine pesos ($12.9 million) in the province, reported CNN Philippines.

The typhoon caused at least PHP 565 million ($12.1 million) worth of damage to the province's infrastructure.

Damage to agriculture sector totaled about PHP 59 million ($1.2 million).
