Reinsurance rates likely "approaching new equilibrium": Fitch

Fitch Ratings Ltd. has said that pricing in the reinsurance market "could be approaching a new equilibrium," reported Artemis.bm.

The global reinsurance market is showing signs that pricing pressure dis slowing as reinsurance rate declines decelerated at the mid-year renewals, said Fitch.

However, reinsurers are still under pressure in spite of remaining profitable, added Fitch.
