Contraceptive coverage battles

In June 2014 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that family-owned for-profit employers cannot be forced by the federal health care reform law to provide coverage for prescription contraceptives. Since then, numerous religious colleges and charities have sought to earn the same exemption, but have had limited success.
