Switzerland-based food company Nestle S.A. is suing three German sugar refiners, including Suedzucker A.G., and is seeking damages worth €50 million ($55.7 million), Reuters reports citing newspaper Lebensmittel Zeitung.
These firms were found to be involved in a price-rigging cartel.
A Nestle spokesman said that the company has filed the suit with a court in Mannheim.
Several other firms have already filed suits against Suedzucker.
