Cat bond and ILS issuance top $6 billion in 2015 so far

Issuances of catastrophe bonds and insurance-linked securities recorded in the Artemis Deal Directory have topped $6 billion from 40 completed transactions in 2015 so far, reported Artemis.bm.

Issuances reached $6 billion in 2014 in the month of June.

The latest cat bond deal that has been completed is the Turkish Catastrophe Insurance Pool's Bosphorus Ltd. parametric earthquake reinsurance bond.
