Huge explosions hit port city's industrial area

Chinese media said that two huge explosions have hit an industrial area in the country's Tianjin port city, reports Reuters.

Media reports said that the blasts have claimed 17 lives and left about 400 injured. Xinhua said that the blasts had ripped through a warehouse storing "dangerous goods." The explosions generated a blast wave that was felt miles away, China Central Television said.
