Torrential rains cause $69 million in damage

Torrential rains in Quang Ninh in Vietnam have caused an estimated 1.5 trillion Vietnamese dong ($69 million), with losses of the coal industry accounting for over VND 500 billion.

The rains, which have led to the deaths of 17 people, have flooded more than 3,000 households, schools and clinics.
