Canadian Pacific lone holdout to settlement

Dozens of companies linked to the crash involving tank cars carrying Bakken crude oil agreed in June to a settlement of $430 million for the victims of the crash.
Canadian Pacific, which had transported the tank cars before the Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway Ltd. took over, was the only company that did not agree to the settlement.
Last month, a Quebec Superior Court judge rejected Canadian Pacific's objections to the settlement, which the railway appealed in late July.
