Attack on oil refinery in Yemen

Officials said a huge fire broke out at an oil refinery in Yemen's Aden city as Houthi forces fired mortar rounds at the facility, reported Reuters.

An official at the facility said that the "damage is going to be very big."

The mortar barrage hit three full storage tanks.

Sources said that the refinery shut its operations in April due to conflicts.

Yemen's oil and gas industry has been considerably affected by the ongoing conflicts in the country.
