Perils lowers insured loss estimate for European storms to $360 million
Posted On: Jul. 9, 2015 12:00 AM CSTPerils A.G. has placed its third estimate of insured losses from European windstorms Elon-Felix at €328 million ($361 million), reported Artemis.bm.
The recent estimate of insured losses is less than its previous estimate of €335 million. The windstorms hit Europe in January. Majority of the insured losses occurred in the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Perils will place a fourth estimate of the losses in January 2016.
