Global airlines at risk of cyber attacks: Experts

Security experts have said that cyber attacks pose a huge threat to safety of global airlines, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

Such attacks could prompt airlines to ground their fleets to protect passenger welfare, causing huge financial damage, said the experts. Eric Lowenstein, an official at Aon P.L.C., said that there are "huge risks and challenges facing the airlines." A security breach that prompts an airline to ground several aircraft could easily cost millions of dollars.
